In today’s world everyone prefers to use a smart watch and Apple is the most highlighted brand from any other brands for smart watches. So, Apple has developed smart watches with so many features. The developer of the Apple watches is Apple Inc. and till today, we have the latest series 4 of Apple watches, which have got different features as compare to the earlier series. It incorporates fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities with integration with iOS and other Apple products and services. Apple Watch relies on a wireless connection to an iPhone to perform many of its default functions such as calling and texting. However, Wi-Fi chips in all Apple Watch models allow the smart watch to have limited connectivity features away from the phone anywhere a Wi-Fi network is available. The next-generation Apple Watch software was announced in June 2019 and it has a few tricks up its sleeve which will come to Apple Watch Series 5. There’s an App Store, a step towards Apple Watch not being so reliant on your iPhone. There are new watch faces, as you’d expect – a new gradient face, digital face and more, while you can also get Apple Watch to alert you at the top of the hour. A new Noise app alerts you if the decibel level is too high around you – it’s designed for those regularly in noisy environments where there is potential for gradual hearing loss after long-term exposure. Then there’s a cycle tracking feature that will enable female watch wearers to track menstrual cycles. You can also get predictions about fertile times. Finally new Apple Watch apps for voice memos, calculator and audio books are also due – and the calculator will be able to split-the-bill and work out tips. Series 3 LTE Apple Watches are able to be used without needing to be consistently connected to an iPhone, though an iPhone is still required to set up the device. First generation and Series 1 and 2 Apple Watches require an iPhone 5s or later with iOS 11; the Series 3 and later LTE models require an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 11 or later. We’d like to see battery improvements to match other smartwatches in the market, like the Samsung Galaxy Watch and we would also like to see an Always On Display for the Series 5, as well as roaming capabilities. It would also be great to see the Apple Watch unlock more rather than just being able to unlock your Mac. According to the report, the next Apple Watch won’t change much in terms of design, with a focus on the watchOS 6 software instead. We could also see the return of the ceramic casing, as well as a new titanium casing for the Apple Watch Series 5. Currently, the Apple Watch has no biometric security but an in-display fingerprint sensor would allow it to offer some, without changing the design.
