Xiaomi recently launched three Smartphones of the K series Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ at a scheduled event organized in China on the 25th February 2021. The latest devices share a couple of exciting features such as a triple rear camera, gradient back design, AMOLED display, and much more. Apart from that, Xiaomi also launched the RedmiBook Pro 15, RedmiBook Pro 14, and the Redmi AirDots 3.

Common features of Redmi K40 series Mobile phones:

There are plenty of features that are common for all the three recently launched Redmi K series.

They have a Samsung E4 AMOLED display along with a 360Hz touch sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the maximum brightness is 1300 nit. Apart from this, all three appliances weigh 196 gm and offer a front camera of 20 MP.  Here, you will also find the fingerprint sensor on the side, along with the LiquidCool Technology for dissipating the heat.

Moreover, these also offer Dolby Atmos when it comes to audio. All of them have a 4,520mAh battery along with 33W fast charging.

You can get these three smartphones in different shades – Dreamland, Icy White, and Glossy Black.

Specifications of Redmi K40

With MIUI 12 and Android 11 as the platform, Redmi K40 offers an intriguing array of specifications. It comes with a 6.67-inch screen that also exhibits an AMOLED display. Here, you will get the latest Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 870. It shows off a 7nm revolutionary processing technology that delivers a maximum frequency of 3.2GHz. Moreover, it has the Adreno 650 GPU as the graphics processor for the seamless playing of different games.

Apart from these, the Redmi K40 also supports the recent 802.11ax Wi-Fi. With the assistance of HDR10+ and DCI-P3 color gamut, the stunning display of colors will make you awestruck. Moreover, the color accuracy and elegant color representation have earned it an A+ rating from the prestigious organization, the DisplayMate.

With a width of only 7.8mm, the Redmi K40 is stylish, sleek, and lightweight. Moreover, it comes in different storage variants with different prices. For 12GB+256GB and 8GB+256GB, the price is RMB 2,699. And, for the 8GB+128GB, it is RMB 2,199 but for 6GB+128GB, the price is RMB 1,999.

All the specifications of K40 Pro and K40 Pro+ are the same except one. Their only point of difference is the rear camera configuration.  

Redmi K40 Pro comes with a 64MP IMX686 main camera, while the Redmi K40 Pro+ supports the 108MP HM2 main camera.

Both Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro+ have the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 888 processor, along with 5G with dual SIM feature. Apart from that, you can also get the enhanced Wi-Fi support of 6E.

Redmi K40 Pro+ offers one storage variant of 12GB+256GB with price RMB 3,699. However, the Redmi K40 Pro has three types – 8GB+256GB, 8GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB costing RMB 3,299, RMB 2,999, and RMB 2,799 respectively.

You can order these mobile via the official channels of Xiaomi for sale on 4th March. However, you will get the Redmi K40 Pro+ for purchase towards the end of the month.
